2009-10: Appeared in seven games as a freshman for a total of six minutes … Did not score and had three rebounds ... Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Before MSU: Was a standout player at Northside Baptist Christian Academy School where his team went 23-13 during his senior year and advanced to the National Christian Schools Athletic Association Tournament ... He was named to the all-tournament team ... Averaged 30.9 points per game in his senior season and had a high-point game of 67 in a game against Mount Vernon, Ill. ... Shot 48 percent from three-point range and a career-high 11 three-point baskets in a single game ... Named Valedictorian of his class and had a 4.0 GPA.
