Keiona Kirby enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Racers after spending the 2015-16 season as a graduate assistant with the team. Prior to that, Kirby spent four seasons as a student-athlete at Murray State.
Kirby appeared in 102 games and made 39 starts at MSU from 2011-15. For her career, Kirby averaged 9.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. In her junior and senior seasons, Kirby averaged a team-high 18.3 and 15.8 points per game, respectively.
The Jackson, Tenn., native graduated from MSU in 2015 with a degree in outdoor and community recreation.
