- Beginning as the interim head coach in the 2007-08 season, Lollar has carved out one of the greatest eras of any Murray State head coach in school history.
- He will enter his 20th year as coach of the Racers in the 2025-26Â school year.

- His teams have made 11Â NCAA appearances (2007, 2010-11, 2015-20, 2022, 2025)
- Has been named OVC Coach of Year 10Â times (2008, 2010, 2015-19, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025)
- Coached 12Â OVC Freshmen of the Year (Emily Quiner, (2010), Kelsey Emme (2013), Tessa Howald (2014), Ivan Roe (2016), Barbara Schlaper (2017), Mieke Drewell (2017), Dana Buessler (2019), Allison Henry (2021), John Blanton (2022), Paola Paravati (2023), Caroline Martin (2024), Carlotta Salafia (2025)
- Has had 23 OVC Rifle Athletes of the Year in his tenure, including MSU's Carlotte Salafia and John Blanton sharing the award in 2025
- Coached 35Â All-Americans as of 2025 when John Blanton, Zach Jackson and Carlotta Salafia were honored.
- Has tallied 138Â All-OVC Selections after the 2024-25 season was complete
- Spent three seasons as an assistant athletic trainer at Richmond (1984-87)
- Spent five seasons as an assistant athletic trainer at Ole Miss (1987-92)
- Spent time as a trainer with Class A with the Bakersfield Mariners
Personal
- 1981 graduate of Mississippi State
- Received master's degree from Murray State in 1984Â
- Married to wife, Liz, and has two children, Maggie and former Racer baseball pitcher, John
- Has worked at Murray State for over 30 years serving as an assistant athletic trainer, the head athletic trainer and as head rifle coach
- Began career at Murray State with a two-year stint from 1982-1984, before returning for good in 1992
