Henry, Patterson Receive OVC Academic Medal of Honor

Rifle athletes receive conference academic honors.

Rifle athletes Allison Henry and Scott Patterson received Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor recognition as announced by the conference office in Brentwood, Tenn. on Friday.

The OVC Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to the student-athletes who achieve the highest grade point average in a Conference-sponsored sport. Every Academic Medal of Honor recipient for the 2024-25 academic year carried a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Henry and Patterson both competed for the Racers at the NCAA Rifle Championships in Lexington, Ky. Patterson was previously named the 2025 OVC Smallbore Athlete of the Year and was First Team All-OVC in both Air Rifle and Smallbore. Both Henry and Patterson were named CRCA Scholastic All-Americans.
