Personal
- The 2023-24 school year is the ninth season for Jorge Caetano as head coach of the Murray State women's tennis program.
- He is the ninth coach in program history.
- In the 2022-23 campaign, Coach Caetano led the Racers into their first season in the Missouri Valley Conference.
- When the Racers defeated UIC in the MVC Tournament first round, it marked Caetano's 100th victory as coach of the Racers.
- Sarah Bureau was named to the MVC All-Select Team.
- In the fall season of the MVC, Natalie Slezakova and Paola Campigotto won their respective flights at The Valley Singles Championship in Springfield, Mo.
- The pillars of Caetano’s program include an emphasis on academics, great physical conditioning, and determined play.
- As a rookie coach In 2015, Caetano led the Racers to the Ohio Valley Conference regular season and tournament championship - earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. They finished with a 17-4 overall record, 9-1 in the OVC, and unbeaten at home at 11-0. Erin Patton was also undefeated during the regular season.
- Has coached 12 All-Conference selections since taking over the program in 2015
- Coached Nancy Karaky to a 2015 OVC Freshman of the Year award - the first in program history.
- Led the Racers to a 14-8 overall record, with an 8-1 mark in the OVC in 2018. They also went a perfect 8-0 at home.
Playing Career
- Was a four-year letter winner for Murray State from 2009-12.
- Had 21 singles and 24 doubles wins at MSU.
- As a senior in 2012, he played the No. 1 singles spot for the Racers.
- Played for Murray State legend Mel Purcell, who is now Director of Tennis Emeritus for the MSU program.

- Born April 4, 1989 in Niteroi, Brazil.
- Is a Murray State graduate with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering technology in 2013.
- Earned his M.B.A. at Murray State in 2016.
- Married Veronica Caetano on July 23, 2016.
