- Following in his father's foot steps, Dr. Richard Blalock II has become a great asset for the Racers and well-being of the 400-plus student-athletes of Murray State University.
- Blalock is in charge of all orthopedic services for the Racers' 15 sports teams.
- The 2025-26 school year is his ninth with Murray State Athletics.
Before MSU
- Graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2010.
- Held residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston from 2010-15.
- Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.Â
