- Returned to the Racer family after spending a year and a half as an assistant athletic trainer at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina.
- Worked primarily with the Hawks’ football and baseball programs.
- The West Chester, Ohio native earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training education from Bowling Green State University in 2016.

- Young is an NATABOC certified athletic trainer and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
