Coached Katelyn Young to OVC Player of the Year honor in addition to placing a school record four player on All-OVC teams

Has posted a top-ten all-time free throw percentage in three of four season including a career-high 76.8-percent in 2020-21, which is the fourth best free throw percentage in school history.
Following the 2020-21 season, Macey Turley and Katelyn Young were both named to the All-OVC first team, while Turley also earned All-Tournament honors
Had a career-high three OVC postseason awards in 2019-20 with Macey Turley being named to the first team, Alexis Burpo being named to the second team and Laci Hawthorne being named to the All-Newcomer team
Led a team that was picked 12th in the OVC preseason poll to a 9-9 league record and a sixth place finish in 2018-19
Coached Macey Turley to 2019 Freshman of the Year and All-OVC second team honors and Evelyn Adebayo to a spot on the All-OVC first-team
Has qualified for the OVC tournament in each of her first three seasons
In 2017-18, she coached OVC Player of the Year Ke'Shunan James to a fantastic senior season in which she led the OVC in scoring at 21.3 points per game.
The Racers won seven league games and earned a spot in the OVC Tournament for the first time since 2016.

Personal

Native of Calvert City, Kentucky
Graduated from Murray State in 1996 with a degree in Learning and Behavior Studies
In 2001, graduated with her Master's in Reading and Writing from MSU
Received her Administrative Certification in 2009 from the University of the Cumberlands
Turner and her husband Travis reside in Murray and have two sons, Cade and Cadwell
