Racers among Top 25 nationally in four NCAA volleyball categories

The Murray State women's volleyball team ranks among the top 25 in four different categories, according to statistics released by the NCAA this week.

Murray State (14-5, 8-1 OVC) ranks eighth in assists per game (15.44), tied for eighth in kills per game (16.78), 14th in attack percentage (.277) and 23rd in digs per game (17.74).

The Racers return to Ohio Valley Conference action on Friday with a 7 p.m. match at Eastern Illinois. That match is the second of five straight road trips for MSU, as the Racers visit Tennessee Tech on Oct. 31, Austin Peay on Nov. 1 and Tennessee-Martin on Nov. 4.
