"We were able to take advantage of some breaks," said MSU head coach Rob McDonald of the Game 2 win. "I knew that if we kept our heads up and kept trying, we would get some breaks to go our way. We hit pretty well, and our defense really picked us up. Billy Fares did an excellent job on the mound. We need to ride this momentum from this win."
