Coach's wedding goes as planned despite Category 4 hurricane

Sorry, Charley. Hurricanes are known to destroy property, raze buildings and devastate towns, but it will take more than a Category 4 hurricane to ruin Lady Racer head coach Joi Williams' wedding.
Williams, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., became Joi Felton this evening in Jacksonville, marrying Herman Felton Jr., who is also a native of Jacksonville.
Hurricane Charley came blowing through Florida on Friday, going south of Jacksonville, then east of the city after entering the Atlantic Ocean, packing winds of up to 145 miles per hour upon landfall Friday afternoon, but being downgraded to a Category 1 storm (75 mph winds) by the time it got near Jacksonville on Friday night. The storm was well north of Jacksonville by the time the wedding began this evening.
Asked earlier in the week if she would consider postponing the wedding, Williams used a phrase that, ironically enough, included the term "high water" to indicate her decision to keep the wedding on schedule.
Williams -- now Coach Felton -- begins her second season at the helm of the Lady Racers.
