Gorey places fourth at SEMO

John Gorey placed fourth in the 21-runner SEMO Invitational today at Cape Girardeau, Mo. Murray State fielded three runners, not enough to qualify for a team score.
Gorey completed the 3.2-mile (5.1-kilometer) course in a time of 16 minutes, 27 seconds.
Mitch Sharber was eighth at 17:22, while Anthony Collotti-Brown was 10th at 17:44.
Murray State will next compete at the O'Reilly's Ohio Valley Conference Championships on Saturday at Charleston, Ill. Eastern Illinois University is the host team.
