Former Bellarmine standout Princess Wimsatt had four assists, while another former Bellarmine player, Alexis Brown, had a game-high three steals.
"It's always good to win, and it was good for us to get out and play another team," said MSU head coach Joi Felton. "It lets us see what we've got to work on.
"Ashley Nichole Hayes did a great job rebounding, but we gave up 18 offensive boards. We've got to be more consistent, and we will work on that tomorrow in practice.
"It's good to see Stacy (Holmes) again. It's always good to see her. These were very good players we played against, and we saw that we have some things we need to work on before we play again this Thursday (against St. Louis Goldstar)."
Murray State hosts St. Louis Goldstar this Thursday at 5:15 p.m. in the RSEC in its final exhibition game of the season.
