Murray State Thoroughbreds pitchers held host Louisville to only three hits, but the Cardinals were able to take advantage of stolen bases, MSU errors and wild pitches to pull off the 6-3 win.

Louisville (22-16) countered with a run in the bottom of the first and two in the second to take a 3-1 lead.
In the third inning, Chaz Ebert hit a one-out single, then reached second on a fielding error. Griggs hit a two-out single, driving in Ebert and cutting the gap to 3-2.
The Cardinals plated two runs in the fifth inning, but the 'Breds countered in the seventh when Brett Mullins hit a two-out single, then Ebert hit a single, moving Mullins to third. Mullins scored on a fielding error, cutting the UL lead to 5-3. Louisville added a run in the bottom half of the inning to close the scoring at 6-3.
