Murray State Cross Country runner John Gorey placed 19th at the Evansville Invitational Saturday. His time on the 8K course was 26:34. Nick Waninger of Evansville was the winner with a time of 24:27.
MSU's Steven Hart turned in a time of 27:22 good for 26th place. His time was also a personal best. Andrew Smithson's time of 28:46 placed him 60th.
Jack Findley finished 72nd with a time of 29:39.
