Volleyball Listed Among National Rankings

The Murray State women's volleyball team still leads Division I in digs per game, holding the top spot for the sixth week this season and the fifth consecutive week. The Racers averaged 23.80 digs per game through Monday, a full 2.26 digs per game more than the No. 2 team, Texas-Arlington.
Volleyball statistical rankings were released today by the NCAA.
Sophomore libero Heather Norris moved up to the No. 6 spot with 6.41 digs per game. Norris ranked 10th last week, and has been ranked among the nation's top 30 in that category for the last four weeks.
MSU's win percentage of .833 is 20th in the nation this week, and freshman setter Cassie Chesney cracked the top 30 list, ranked 30th with 12.82 assists per game, ranked second in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The Racers (15-3, 7-1 OVC) played at Tennessee-Martin tonight. Murray State will next play at Tennessee Tech on Saturday at 2 p.m.
