Murray State Men's Tennis Edged By Memphis

Jeff Lester extended his winning streak to four but the Murray State University men's tennis team fell to the University of Memphis, 4-3, today at the UM Recreation Courts in Memphis, Tenn. After winning three straight matches at number five singles, Lester returned to his sixth spot and extended his streak with a 7-5 and 7-6 victory over Vinicius Craveiro. The Racers fall to 2-6 on the season while the Tigers end a three match losing streak and improve to 4-9 in 2006.
In singles play,
Hryhorash picked up a win for the Racers at number two singles by beating Michael Jetter 6-3 and 6-4.
