Former Racer Tami McQueen Earns OVC's Vernon Holland Award

During her collegiate tennis career, McQueen won 50 singles matches and 34 doubles matches. She was selected to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic team four times and the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll four times. McQueen also earned a spot on the Murray State Dean's List in each of her eight semesters as a student.
She was also named as a United States Achievement Academy Collegiate All-American Scholar in 2005 and 2006
In 2004, McQueen received the OVC Medal of Honor, which is given annually to the student-athlete who achieves the highest grade point average in a conference-sponsored sport.
