Freshmen Duo Picks Up Doubles Win At #19 UK

Murray State University's women's tennis team was shutout by #19 University of Kentucky, 7-0, today at the Hilary J. Boone Indoor Tennis Complex in Lexington, Ky. The Racers' freshmen duo of Lynsey Bochenek and Angela McGahee earned an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles over Christine Johnston and Caroline Winebrenner.

Anna Lask and Rachael Lask fell to the third ranked doubles team in the nation at No. 1 doubles. Kim Coventry and Joelle Schwenk beat the MSU squad 8-4.

Schwenk, the 60^th ranked singles player in the nation, won a straight set match at No. 2 singles over Rachael Lask, 6-2 and 6-0.

The Racers will not play again until February 2 when they travel to face Memphis at 2:30 p.m.
