Witbrodt Named Pepsi MSU Athlete Of The Week

Junior rifler Kevin Witbrodt was named this week's Pepsi Murray State Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Racers' shoulder-to-shoulder match at Tennessee-Martin on Saturday.

Witbrodt fired an aggregate of 1158 out of a possible 1200 to lead MSU, shooting a 581 in smallbore and a 577 in air rifle. The match was the first competition of the 2007-08 season for the Racers.

Murray State next competes at the Memphis Tiger Open on Saturday and at the Ole Miss Invitational on Sunday.
