Three Racers to Compete in NCAA Championships

Caroline Martin, Carlotta Salafia, and Lea Soulé of Murray State Rifle will compete as individuals in the NCAA Rifle Championships.Â
Martin finished the 2025-26 regular season with averages of 582.692 in smallbore and 593.857 in air rifle and an aggregate average of 1176.549. The Glen Rose, Texas native posted career highs in all three categories this season, firing a 598 in air rifle on February 14 of this year, and a 590 in smallbore with an 1187 aggregate on February 4. The junior will compete for the individual title in air rifle.Â
Salafia averaged scores of 586.833 in smallbore, 597.667 in air rifle, and 1184.500 in aggregate across her sophomore season, with her air rifle and aggregate averages leading the team. The Pezzana, Italy native, posted career highs in smallbore and aggregate this season, firing a 594 in smallbore on February 21 and a 1191 aggregate on February 14. Salafia will compete for the individual title in smallbore. Â
Freshman Lea Soulé led the Racers with a smallbore average of 589.214 and averaged 589.214 in air rifle with an average aggregate of 1178.857. Her season and career highs include a smallbore score of 594 and an aggregate of 1191 on October 18, 2025, and an air rifle score of 595 on October 25. The Osceola, Texas native will compete in smallbore. Â
The smallbore Championships will take place on March 13, with the air rifle Championships the following day; both days will be streamed on NCAA.com. Full results will be available at ncaarifle.org.
