Murray State's men's tennis team lost to Jacksonville State, 6-1, today in Jacksonville, Ala. The Racers fall to 0-6 in 2007 and 0-2 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Gamecocks improve to 8-4 overall and 4-1 against league opponents.

Senior Fadi Zamjaoui earned the only point for Murray State with a three set victory at No. 1 singles over Scott Robertson. Zamjaoui dropped the first set 7-6 and then took the second set 6-1 and the third set 10-8.

Dmytro Hryhorash won the first set 7-6 over Bernado Bachino at No. 2 singles but couldn't hold off a comeback by Bachino. Hryhorash fell in the third set 6-3 and then Bachino took the match with a 10-6 win in the third set.

The Racers will host Southern Illinois on Thursday. The match will begin at 1p.m., and will be played at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts on the MSU campus.
