Men's Tennis Earns First OVC Win With Shutout Of TSU

MSU swept all three doubles matches. Dmytro Hryhorash and Hunter Gerlach downed Aaron Fields and William Tredwell, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles. Jeff Lester and Yuri Pompeu knocked off TSU's James Dickerson and Austin Fields, 8-2, at No. 2 doubles. Chris Horton and
In singles play, the Racers won two matches without losing a single game. Gerlach and Lester shutout their opponents at No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
Hryhorash lost just one game on his way to a 6-0 and 6-1 win at No. 1 singles over Tredwell. Horton lost only one game on his way to a 6-0 and 6-1 win over Mosley at No. 5 singles.
Yuri Pompeu defeated Austin Fields, 6-1 and 6-1, at No. 4 singles. Headford took care of Brooks, 6-2 and 7-5, at No. 6 singles.
