With her doubles win, Rachael Lask moved into sole possession of second place on MSU's career doubles wins list with 101. She only trails sister Anna Lask who has 104 career doubles victories.

Straight set singles wins by Casady Pruitt, Bochenek and Lyndsay Ottosen allowed
Pruitt lost just two games on her way to a 6-1 and 6-1 victory over Madina Mambetova at No. 3 singles. Bochenek edged Homburg in the first set 7-5 and then blanked her opponent for a 6-0 win in the second set at No. 5 singles.
Ottosen also lost just two games en route to beating Annie Munch 6-1 and 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
Anna Lask won the first set over Sasidharan 7-5 at No. 1 singles and was leading in the second set 3-2 when the match was stopped. McGahee cruised through the first set at No. 4 singles, beating Harmazy 6-0, but the second set was tied 5-5 when the match ended.
