
Racer Rifle Wins At Tech

The Murray State Rifle team posted a 51-point victory over Tennessee Tech in
The Racers won the shoulder-to-shoulder match 4547-4498 and included a 2249-2222 win in the smallbore competition and a 2298-2276 advantage in air rifle.
“It was good to get a win on the road,” MSU Head Coach Alan Lollar said. “It was another chance for us to compete and improve and we're working hard to stay on that course.”
MSU's Erica Meece and Kasey Meyer led the way with wins in the two gun categories. Meyer won the smallbore with a 573, while Meece was the best in the air rifle with a 579.
“Erica and Kasey both performed well,” Lollar said.
The Racers are at home Saturday to host Ohio Valley Conference foe
