The day ended with a 4602-4541 win the Cornhuskers.
MSU Head Coach Alan Lollar said he was pleased with the progress his team is making in the fall.
“We improved over last week and had some nice individual performances,” Lollar said. “Harley Jette shot 580 Air Rifle and Kasey Meyer shot a 576 Smallbore and 585 Air Rifle.
Lolar was also pleased with the performance of freshman Apryl Meares.
“She had a solid 560 in smallbore,” Lollar said. “Apryl has been working hard and it's good to see her improvement.”
“I thought we competed well in Air Rifle. It shows that this team has worked hard,” Lollar added. “If we can fix a few things and build a little momentum, all the pieces are there and we are still not to the halfway point of our season yet.”
