Racer Rifle Competes At JSU

The Murray State Rifle squad competed in
The Racers finished second in the six-team event with a total score of 4544.

MSu showed improvement with a smallbore score of 2276 and an air rifle total of 2268.
“I thought we did some things better this week,” MSU Head Coach Alan Lollar said. “We competed much better in smallbore. Kasey Meyer and Harley Jette did a fine job with 584 and 573 respectively.”
In air rifle, MSU's Kent Wilcox fired a 581, while Apryl Meares shot in the 560's smallbore for the second match in a row.
“Her hard work is paying off,” Lollar added. “Her 568 air rifle score shows promise for the second semester. “
