The Racers saw their four-game win streak snapped as they fell to 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The win for the Morehead State Eagles was the first over the Racers since 2003 after MSU had won the last 11 in the series.
The game saw the Racers trail by as many as 11 in the first half and lead by four in the second half before the outcome was decided.
Falling behind 41-36 at the half, the Racers responded with an 8-2 run to take the lead for the first time in the game at 54-52 on a three-pointer and a driving lay up by Isacc Miles, plus a three-point play from Ivan Aska.
