Rain Shortens Majority of Halloween Classic at Kennesaw State

Due to rain and inclement conditions, the majority of the First Annual Kennesaw State Women's Tennis Halloween Invitational at the Governors Towne Club was cancelled.
Mother nature took over just two hours into play Friday morning as rain began to fall. Friday afternoon's matches and all of Saturday's matches were cancelled due to the inclment conditions.
MSU was able to finish four matches before mother nature took over Friday morning. Cassidy Cunitz picked up a three set victory, 6-3, 3-6, 10-7, over Georgia Southern's Melanie Rolle. Ashley Canty also picked up a victory as she defeated Kennesaw State's Iesha Holton in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 10-8. Alexis Webb and Angela McGahee dropped their matches in straight sets as the Racers finished 2-2 in singles play at the tournament.
