2009-10 Cheerleading Tryouts Scheduled for April 24-25

Murray State has announced the dates for cheerleading try-outs for the 2009-10 season. Try-outs are scheduled for Friday, April 24 and Saturday April 25 in South Gym at Carr Health. Friday's try-outs will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., with the first round of cuts taking place that evening. Saturday's events are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Potential cheerleaders will be required to cheer, chant, complete jumps, stunts, tumbling, and a dance routine. All interested must complete an application which needs to be submitted with a photo to MarTeze Hammonds by March 27. The application and more information on try-outs can be found by clicking here.
