MSU MEETS TSU WEDNESDAY: The Murray State Racers travel to the Gentry Center In Nashville for a Wednesday 7:30 p.m. game at Tennessee State. The Racers haven't played since Jan. 24 when they defeated SE Missouri at home 80-55. The Racers resume action with a busy week on tap. MSU plays at Austin Peay Saturday and Monday at Eastern Illinois, before returning to the RSEC to host Tennessee Tech Feb. 12. MSU carries a two-game win streak into the game at TSU.
STORM OF THE CENTURY ALTERS MSU SCHEDULE: MSU's stretch without a game was brought on by a devastating ice storm that blew through the region Jan. 26-27 that left more than a half million people without water or power. A large portion of the state of Kentucky has been declared a federal disaster area. The Racers' home game with UT Martin Jan. 31 was postponed and rescheduled for Feb. 23. The MSU team escaped to Clarksville, Tenn. where OVC member Austin Peay opened their facilities to help them get out of the disaster area and continue workouts.

HOLLOWAY AND 1,000: Tyler Holloway is closing on becoming the 34th member of the Murray State 1,000-Point Club. After his 17 points against SEMO, he has 963 points which means he will probably get to 1,000 points during the Racers road trip to TSU, APSU, and EIU. Holloway is also ranked fourth on MSU's all-time made three-pointer list with 181. Given his recent good shooting, Holloway has a chance to catch third place Justin Burdine before the season is finished. Burdine played for the Racers from 1998-02 and finished with 198.
