Men?s Tennis Sweeps Tennessee State

The Murray State men's tennis team won its second straight match as the Racers defeated Tennessee State 7-0 Thursday afternoon at the Hadley Park Bubble in Nashville, Tenn. The victory improves MSU to 3-5 on the season and 1-0 in Ohio Valley Conference action.
The Racers swept the doubles matches as Ben Clos and Jose Berardo eased to an easy 8-3 victory at No. 1, while Renaldo Domoney and Mikel Headford won by the same score at No. 2.
MSU stretched its lead as Adam Perry won by default at No. 6 and Jadir Semensin won as his opponent retired with Semensin up 3-0 in the first set.
Domoney swept his match at No. 2, while Johnson won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4. Clos and Berardo won their matches at No. 1 and No. 3 by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores.
The team returns to the court tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksonville State.
