Ottosen Named OVC Co-Women'sTennis Athlete of the Week

After running her streak to 11-straight singles victories, Murray State junior Lyndsay Ottosen was named the Ohio Valley Conference co-Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday. Ottosen shares the award with UT Martin's Sara Leavy.

Ottosen (Allen, Texas) remained unbeaten in OVC action by going 2-0 in a pair of singles matches as the Racers ended the regular season on a four-match winning streak. In doubles action, Ottosen teamed with Alexis Webb to go 3-0. The duo did not allow more than four games in any of the three matches.

Ottosen and the Racers open OVC Tournament action Friday morning against #6 Eastern Illinois.
