Racer Rifle Performs Well At TTU

The Murray State Rifle team came home from Cookeville, Tenn., with the championship of the Tennessee Tech Newkirk Invitational.
The Racers fired a total 4624, ahead of second place Jacksonville State (4616), Memphis (4516) and host TTU (4508).
Emily Quiner led the Racers in the Air Rifle with a 592, while Kasey Meyer and Caroline Barber each scored 583. Daniel Sojka added a 581.
In the smallbore, Quiner had a 581, with Meyer carding a 578. Ashley Rose and Sojka each had a 563.
The Racers compete Thurday Jan. 28 at UT Martin.
