Guo Earns Fourth OVC Setter of the Week Honor

The DaTong, Shanxi, China native averaged 11.86 assists per set in Murray State's two victories, which was well above her season average of 9.70. She also added 17 digs. The Racers hit .270 on the weekend while holding their opponents to a .132 mark.
Guo added her fifth double-double of the season, with 50 assists and 13 digs against Southeast Missouri. She is now 261 assists from taking over 3rd on the All-Time Assists Chart at MSU from Mica Wojinski (3,290).
The Racers will be back in action this weekend when they host Tennessee State and Austin Peay as part of the annual Swinging To Eliminate Cancer fundraiser weekend. The Racers will be raising money for the Murray-Calloway County Regional Cancer Center. The team will be on hand at The Big Apple Café tonight (Monday, Oct. 18) from 6-9 as part of Rebate Night to help with the fundraiser.
