Guo OVC Setter of the Week for Second Straight Week

Murray State volleyball setter Jade Guo has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week for the second consecutive week and the third time this season.

The DaTong, Shanxi, China native led the team with a .426 hitting percentage and 10 blocks. She also added a team best four service aces.

Guo also recorded a pair of triple doubles last week. Against Eastern Illinois, she tallied 10 kills, 39 assists and 11 digs. She followed that up 10 kills, 39 assists and 14 digs versus Tennessee Tech. Her 10 kills versus EIU and TTU were career bests. Guo now has three triple-doubles on the season and five for her career at MSU.

The Racers will be back in action this weekend when they travel to battle with Morehead State, Friday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. and Eastern Kentucky, Saturday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m.
