Cross Country Travels to NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville

The Murray State cross country teams head to Louisville, Ky., on Saturday for the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships. The women will kick off competition at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in the 6k race at 10:00 a.m. with the men taking to the course for the 10k at 11:15 a.m.
The Racers will be sending six women, four who have prior experience competing at NCAA Regionals. Katelyn Jones was named second team All-NAC as she led the Racers to a third place finish two weeks ago at the OVC Championships with a 10th place finish in 19:07.53. Asenath NaAman finished in 19:45.54 to place 20th as the second highest MSU entry. Kayla Crusham placed two spots back in 22nd with a time of 19:49.85. Bernadette Catron was 26th in her first conference championship meet, finishing in 19:57.67. Karissa Magnuson (20:27.52) and Jami Kloenne (21:06.43) round out the MSU women's entry this weekend.
Andy Pack is the single representative on the men's side. Pack has run in all six of the Racers events this season, scoring a season high finish of 18th in the 6k season-opening Saluki Early Bird.
