The Murray State football team added a quarterback to its 2010 recruiting class with the signing of Jupiter Christian's Marshyl Rothman to a National Letter of Intent. He is rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals and Scout.com.
Rothman knows how to win as he led the Eagles to a 36-4 record and back-to-back state championships. He was named the MVP of the 2008 state championship game. In his career, Rothman passed for 5,000 yards and 76 touchdowns, while rushing for over 2,000 yards and 33 touchdowns.
He was a two-time first-team all-state selection. He was also twiced named a first-team all-county selection by the Sun Sentinel, and first-team all-area selection from the Palm Beach Post.
The Racers hope to add a few more signees to complete the 2010 class.
