Men's Tennis Falls to UMKC

The Murray State men's tennis team (0-2) lost 5-1 to the UMKC Kangaroo's (1-0) this past Friday at the Rowton Tennis Center in Paducah, Ky.
The Racers started strong in doubles play and went 2-1. Ben Clos and Jose Berardo fell to Patrick Smith and Bret Berryman 8-2 at the No. 1 position. However, the Racers came back to win the next two matches.
Luka Milicevic and Renaldo Domoney faced Serge Ristivojevic and Gustavo Guerin at the No. 2 position and won 9-7.
Jadir Semensin and Jorge Caetano won 8-2 against Erwin Quintanilla and David Heckler.
The Racers fought hard in singles play, but were unable to come out with a win. The closest match for the Racers was Domoney vs. Guerin at the No. 4 position, 6-4 and 6-3.
Clos lost 6-2 and 6-3 at the No. 1 position against Berryman.
The Murray State men's tennis team will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 13 against SIU-Edwardsville at Kenlake. The match is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
