Women's Tennis Falls to USC Upstate

The Murray State women's tennis team lost to USC Upstate 6-1 at Lipscomb this past weekend.
In singles action Alexis Webb brought in the only point for the Racers by defeating Carolina Bello at the No. 2 position. Webb won the match in two sets, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
Senior Angela McGahee lost to Francisca Valderrama in two sets, 6-3, 6-2.
In doubles play Lindsey Wiseman and McGahee teamed up to take on Valderrama and Bello. The Racers played well, but were unable to come up with a win and lost the match 8-6.
The Racers will resume conference play Thu., March 11th against Southeast Missouri State at Cape Girardeau, Mo. The match is set to begin at 2 pm.
