Domoney and Canty Earn All-OVC Tennis Honors

A member of both the Murray State men's and women's tennis teams earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors for 2010, as announced today by league office. Junior Renaldo Domoney and freshman Ashley Canty both were named to the All-OVC Second Team.
Domoney, a native of Cape Town, South Africa went 8-6 in singles play and 9-5 in doubles competition with his partner Luka Milicevic. Domoney was 5-0 in singles and doubles play against conference opponents in 2010.
Canty, a native of Powder Springs, Ga., went 6-3 in OVC singles play and 11-7 in her first season with the Racers. She was 11-6 overall in doubles action, including a 7-2 mark against league competition.
Both MSU men's and women's tennis teams earned upset victories in the 2010 OVC Tournament Championship in Paducah, Ky. The men play Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m. against No. 2 Tennessee Tech and the women will face No. 2 Austin Peay at 2 p.m. at the Larry Heflin Tennis Center.
