Men's Tennis Falls to Jacksonville State

The Murray State men's tennis team fell to Jacksonville State, 5-2, Thursday afternoon at the Purcell Tennis Courts.

The Racers had a good start by capturing the doubles point and putting them in the lead 1-0.

Ben Clos and Jorge Caetano defeated Axel Sunberg and Chris Duke, 8-5, at the No. 1 spot.

Luka Milicevic and Renaldo Domoney sealed the point by defeating Brian Kenyon and Igor Santos, 8-2, at No. 3.

Domoney later tallied the only singles point for the Racers by winning his match against Duke in three sets, 5-7, 6-0, 6-3.

The Racers will travel to Cookeville, Tenn., Sat., Apr. 3rd to continue conference play against Tennessee Tech. The match is set to begin at 11 a.m.
