The Game
The Racers take to the road for their biggest test of the season as they face #4 Jacksonville State. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at JSU Stadium.
The Series
Murray State and Jacksonville State are meeting for just the eighth time. The Gamecocks hold a 6-1 advantage in the series and have won each of the last six meetings.
Looking For Back-to-Back Wins
Murray State will be looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since the 2008 season. During that season, the Racers posted consecutive victories over Austin Peay and Tennessee Tech.
Racers Against Ranked Opponents
Murray State is just 1-9 in its last 10 games against ranked opponents. The Racers are 0-3 in those contests on the road. The lone Racer victory came in the 2008 season finale when MSU defeated #25 Tennessee State, 24-17.
Racers End Losing Streak to UTM
The Racers put and end to a five-game losing streak to UT Martin after a 52-16 victory on Sept. 18. The victory improved MSU to 25-14-1 all-time against the Skyhawks.
Racers Break Out Gold Pants
In a surprise move, the Racers took the field wearing gold pants for the first time this season against UT Martin. The result was a 52-16 victory and the Racers first victory of the Chris Hatcher era. It may not be the last time we see the gold pants this season.
Ehrhardt National Leader in Comp
Senior quarterback Jeff Ehrhardt leads all of the FCS in completions with 119 and completions per game with 29.75. The St. Louis native is completing 68% of his passes this season and is on pace to break the single-season record for completions and attempts.
Largest Crowds Since 2002
