VanOss Added to 2011 Volleyball Roster

“The big thing about Kelsey is her height,” said head coach David Schwepker. “She is also very competitive on the court. She still needs to develop some more skills in areas, but her attitude and competiveness is something that you can't create through training. Once you add her competitive drive to the improved skills it will make her a stronger player.”
VanOss has been a starter of the varsity squad at Beaver Creek High School for the past two seasons. She helped the team to two-straight sectional championships and runner-up finishes in the district finals. VanOss earned GWOC All-Conference and District 15 honors her final two seasons as a prep.
The 6-1 middle hitter recorded 262 kills and 164 blocks in just two seasons with the Beavers. As a senior she hit .356 and added 34 service aces on her way to being named a District 15 Senior All-Star and Academic All-Star.
As a junior, Beaver Creek claimed both the GWOC tournament and Central Division championships. The team finished the season with a 19-6 record. The team then went 15-7 her senior campaign.
