Dunker & Racer Cheerleaders Visit Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary

Murray State mascot, Dunker and a few of the Racers' cheerleaders made an appearance Friday morning at Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School in Paducah, KY on college day.
The school held an assembly which focused on the importance doing well academically and eventually going to college.
Several professionals in a variety of career fields spoke about their experiences and how earning a college degree helped them get to where they are today.
Videos were also shown featuring information about pursuing higher education.
The Murray State cheerleaders and Dunker led the young students in cheers and posed for photos with them. It was all part of a fun day to get the students to begin thinking about higher education.
It was a fun and rewarding event for everyone involved.
