Spirit Squads to Hold Clinic and Camp

Head Coach Mallory Cathey and the Racer cheerleading squad would like to invite children ages four to fifth grade to their annual cheer clinic. The clinic will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Racer Arena from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Participants will learn dances, jumps, and cheers just like the Racers! The cost is $25 with includes a t-shirt and those attending the clinic will be admitted into the men's basketball game that day at no charge. Participants will also perform at halftime of the men's game. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. versus Southern Illinois.

The Racer Girls are also inviting youth to their dance camp Saturday, February 9, 2013. The camp will be held in Racer Arena (Carr Health Building) from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn a fun dance that they will perform during halftime of the men's basketball game that evening. Snacks and t-shirts will also be provided.

Each dancer will receive free admission to the game and the dancer's family will get up to six (6) upper concourse tickets for $5 each.
