Havili Named Pepsi Athlete of the Week

Senior setter Lia Havili (Haltom City, Texas) was named the Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week for her performance at last weekend's La Quinta Inn & Suites Highlander Invitational where she was named the MVP of the tournament.
Havili recorded 72 assists and 25 digs over the weekend as the Racers went 2-1. Havili also recorded four block assists against Radford and had six kills and two aces total at the tournament.
Havili and MSU will have this weekend off before traveling to Morgantown, W.V., next weekend for the West Virginia University Blue and Gold Classic. The Racers will face Cleveland State on Sept. 15 and West Virginia on Sept. 16.
