Sisk Earns Fifth Freshman of the Week Honor of the Season

For the second-straight week and the fifth time this season, Murray State's Erika Sisk has been named as the adidas® OVC Freshman of the Week.

The Oxford, Miss., native once again had a big week for Racers, leading the team with 14.5 points per game over a 1-1 week. The freshman shot 50 percent from behind-the-arch and also chipped in with 3.5 rebounds per game. Additionally, she averaged 3.0 assists, 3.5 steals and 0.5 blocks over the two-game span.

This makes five honors this season for Sisk, more than any other OVC freshman this season. She currently leads all OVC freshmen with 12.0 points per game and is one of just three Racers that is averaging double-digit points per game.

On Saturday, fans are asked to “Pink Out” The Bank for the women's and men's doubleheader against SIU Edwardsville in an effort to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Tip-off for the women is scheduled for 5 p.m., with the men's game to immediately follow.
