Sisk Earns Third-Straight Freshman of the Week Honor

For the third-straight week and the sixth time this season, Erika Sisk of the Murray State women's basketball team has been named as the adidas® OVC Freshman of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Sisk helped pace the Racers to two wins last week, averaging 16.0 points per game over the stretch. On Saturday, the Oxford, Miss., native tied her career-high by scoring 26 against SIU Edwardsville.
The freshman finished the week shooting 35.7 percent from the floor, 36.7 percent from 3-point range and 66.7 from the free throw line. Additionally, she added 1.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 0.5 assists per game to MSU's cause last week.
On Saturday, Sisk and the rest of the Racers (11-7, 4-3) will look to extend their current win-streak to three when they travel to Jacksonville State. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
