The Murray State women's basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak Saturday , as it cruised to 83-64 victory over Saint Louis at the CFSB Center in Murray.

The Racers (3-2) hit a season-high 16 3-pointers and finished the game shooting 45.5 percent from the floor and 45.0 percent from beyond-the-arc. Murray State never trailed in the contest and Saint Louis (2-3) tied the game only once, at 3-3.

Murray State led by six points at the break, and then outscored the Billikens by 13 in the second half for the 19-point win. The Racers outrebounded Saint Louis, 47-44, in the game, and shot a blistering 13-for-15 from the free throw line. MSU also got a huge boost from the bench in the contest, as the Racer subs scored a season-high 40 points and are now averaging 30.4 points per game.

Keiona Kirby, Bianca Babic and Taylor Porter each scored a game-high 17 points. The 17 points by Babic and Porter were career-highs for both players, with Porter's 17 coming off the bench. Jashae Lee rounded out the Murray State scorers in double-digits with 10 points, while Jessica Winfrey led the team in rebounding with nine. Briana Gray and Jamesia Price led the Billikens with 12 each, while Sadie Stipanovich had a near double-double of nine points and 10 boards.

The Racers will close out a three-game stint at The Bank with their third game in six days against Kennesaw State Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. The contest will immediately precede the men's basketball game against Middle Tennessee, which is set for an approximate tip-off time of 7:30 p.m.
